Greetings from Racine PEEPS Postcard
Send a wholesome hello to family and friends with a postcard based on Elizabeth and Loretta Peterson's intricate needlework piece, Greetings from Racine. Each letter of the city name showcases a Racine attraction—along with a few PEEPS® taking in the sights and sounds. Enjoy sights of the Johnson Wax building, Monument Square, Racine Zoo, Lake Michigan, and even the Racine Art Museum!
The Petersons, a mother and daughter duo from Illinois, created Greetings from Racine for the RAM 12th Annual International PEEPS Art Exhibition in early 2021. This piece won First Peep in the Family/Group/Organization category of awards, as well as the Margaret V. Wargo Award. This piece is the first-ever from a PEEPS Art Exhibition to be added to Racine Art Museum's permanent collection, thanks to the generosity of the artists.
