Julia Jordan is a painter of lush floral still lifes. Initially known as a watercolor painter, she began primarily using oil paints in the late 1990s.
Jordan is a Chicago native and studied art in college, but ended up working in several unrelated fields after graduation. She and her husband moved to Denver in 1993, where she studied under notable painter Quang Ho at the Art Students League. Currently, Jordan teaches workshops at the Foothills Art Center in Golden, Colorado.
