Leslie Perrino—Peeps Bunny Figurine

Leslie Perrino—Peeps Bunny Figurine

Racine-based artist Leslie Perrino created this free-standing figurine depicting a colorfully adorable marshmallow Peep® in celebration of the RAM 13th Annual International Peeps Art Exhibition. This little metal bunny is crafted with a slot that fits an accompanying stand, making it a breeze to prop up and display the Peep® anywhere in your house!

Perrino is known for creating impeccable enameled jewelry as well as a series of work made from scrapped computer motherboards. Her designs are influenced by the relationship between the universality of myth and multimedia experiences.

Perrino is a full-time artist and teacher in Racine, Wisconsin, where she maintains a home studio. She is faculty and coordinator of the Jewelry Department at the Evanston Art Center, and is also an adjunct professor teaching jewelry at the College of Lake County. Additionally, she also teaches jewelry classes and workshops at RAM's Wustum Museum of Fine Arts in Racine.
