Randall Darwall - Summer | Winter Weave Scarf in Rust
Randall Darwall (1948-2017) was a master colorist and weaver whose extraordinarily refined aesthetic brought intelligence and liveliness to his exquisite work. He attended Harvard College and Rhode Island School of Design. Darwall also established a weaving studio in Cambridge while serving as Arts Division Head at The Cambridge School.
In rich shades of wheat, russet, charcoal with threads of green – a trademark of this artists works. Randall Darwall’s weavings are in the permanent collections of the New York City’s Museum of Art and Design; Philadelphia Museum of Art; Fuller Craft Museum; Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum; and the Racine Art Museum.
