Lifelong Milwaukee resident and one of Wisconsin’s artistic treasures, octogenarian JoAnna Poehlmann is known for her literate sense of humor and her masterful draftsmanship.

In her Homage Widows Walk II, Poehlmann features a painting by Rousseau with a hand holding a bouquet of flowers, and beneath she has applied an actual dried rose. She has drawn an animated collection of bugs scattered around the bottom of the piece. Edition of 5/30.
